THE PROBLEMS WITH TERMINATOR SALVATION AND THE YEAR 2018 (WHICH IS ROUGHLY TWO WEEKS FROM NOW)

When Terminator Salvation was released on May 21, 2009, The year 2018 was sufficiently far enough away that the year could be used as the setting for the film. The problem was that the film Terminator Salvation was set in a post nuclear apocalyptic holocaust. Which means, if a nuclear war doesn't occur in the year 2018, then the Terminator Salvation continuity is ruined and a reboot becomes necessary. The sad truth was that if a nuclear war does occur, there won't be enough people left to act in the film, there won't be enough people left to release the film and there won't be enough people left to watch the film. Which means that a reboot still becomes necessary because Survivors of a Post Nuclear Holocaust won't want to be reminded that a nuclear war has occurred. Well anyway, the year 2018 is roughly two weeks from now and there isn't any sign of a nuclear war in sight (Though we did came close to a nuclear war against North Korea several times this year). So I guess if no nuclear war occurs between now and January 1, 2018, then the Terminator Salvation continuity is no longer valid and a reboot of the film series will become necessary. Gosh darn the luck.
And as I'm lost in thought in the Wintertime, here are some photos of Salma Hayek.
