THE RETURN OF LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER

Tomb Raider started out as a video game.  The plot for the videogame was really simple.  Essentially, it was identical to Indiana Jones except the swashbuckling archeologist happened to be a female.  So this female archeologist are fighting monsters and evil acting goons in priceless archeology digging sites and trying to recover Priceless Archeology Artifacts before absolute evil finds it.  The Priceless Archeology Artifacts in question could be used to overthrow Democracy all over the world and replace it with a dictatorship.  Turning Indiana Jones into a feministic action adventure swashbuckling archeology action adventure videogame was so popular, that seventeen Tomb Raider videogames was released between 1996 to right now at this exact moment of time.  The Tomb Raider videogame was so popular, that three separate Tomb Raider videogames was released in the year 2015.  So naturally, there would be a film adaptation of the Tomb Raider videogame.
The first film adaptation of the Tomb Raider videogame was entitled Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and released on the year 2001.  The second film adaptation of the Tomb Raider videogame was entitled Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life and was released on the year 2003.  And now the third installment of the Tomb Raider film series is currently being filmed.  The third film adaptation of the Tomb Raider videogame will be entitled Tomb Raider and it's currently expected to be released in the year 2018.  Alicia Vikander is the second incarnation of Lara Croft and she's going to be the central focus protagonist of the new Tomb Raider film.  And with luck, the Tomb Raider film series could end up becoming an open ended film series which will last for eternity.  And without delay, here are some scenes from the third installment of the Tomb Raider film series entitled Tomb Raider starring Alicia Vikander which will be released in the year 2018.

Angelina Jolie played Lara Croft aka Tomb Raider in the first two installments of the Tomb Raider film series adaptation of the video game series.  The biggest difference between Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft aka Tomb Raider and Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft aka Tomb Raider is the clothing that's worn.  The second incarnation of Lara Croft no longer wears micro shorts to archeology digging sites nor does she wear micro shorts into the jungles of a third world nations in search for priceless treasure.
Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft aka Tomb Raider in the film Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life wore clothing which was much more practical for digging in archeology sites as well as exploring the jungles of a third world nation in search for priceless buried treasure.
