THE TRUTH ABOUT MAGAZINES

So the Gentle Reader purchases a magazine.  And what is found inside a magazine are photos of either fashion models and/or famous people.  And there is a sense of envy because the model and/or famous people always seem to look much better than the Gentle Reader.  What the Gentle Reader fails to realize is what is seen in the magazine photos are only part of the story.  You see, after the magazine photo is taken, it's always altered on the computer.  The computer alters some items such as bruises and thins down celebrities who are already thinner than the average person already.  Allow me to offer a demonstration.
The left is the original photograph of Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga.  The photo on the right is literally the same exact photo after it was altered by computer.
Again, this is the actual photograph session for the magazine photos that Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga posed for.

These are the same exact photos after being altered by computer.

Here is another outfit worn by Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga for the magazine photo spread session before being altered by computer.
This is what Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga looked like after computers altered her physical appearance.

Well, I guess the computer programmer didn't like the shirt she was wearing because her shirt was digitally removed by computer.  But she was wearing a shirt when the photo was taken, but digitally removed by computer hours later.  But Lady Gaga never posed topless for this photo.
So don't feel so bad the next time you see a famous person looking better than you in a magazine spread.  Chances are that even that celebrity can't live up to impossible expectations either.
