LIFE FOR NIRVANA AFTER KURT COBAIN

The good news:  The rock band Nivana has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The bad news:  Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain committed suicide on April 5, 1994 at age twenty-seven.
So how does the rock band Nirvana perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony if lead singer Kurt Cobain committed suicide by putting a gun down his throat and pulling the trigger?  The answer could be found in the twitter feed for Nirvana rock band drummer (Now front man for the rock band Foo Fighters) Dave Grohl.
Yes Gentle Reader, that is Joan Jett's guitar.  The former lead guitar player and eventual lead singer of the all girl rock band the Runaways is playing Kurt Cobain's part in Nirvana's performance as part of that rock band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Dave Grohl and Joan Jett has been really good friends so asking Joan Jett to lead sing for him as part of Nivana's performance in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony turned out to be a good fit.
Needless to say, Joan Jett is overflowing with joy about the chance to be lead singer of the rock band Nirvana for a day.  It's an opportunity of a lifetime that she didn't want to turn down.
(1994-04-05) at age twenty-seven.      NNNeeNNN
