FROM MIAMI TO BARCELONA

S Club 7 never came together naturally, but rather was formed through cattle call audition in 1998 for the sole exclusive purpose of populating a television show.  The idea was that S Club 7 would release television show soundtrack albums which would also function as actual rock albums being recorded by the S Club 7 television show characters.  S Club 7 was composed of four women lead singer Jo O'Meara, Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt and Tina Barrett and three men Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Paul Cattermole.
Five seasons of S Club 7 were broadcast starting with S Club 7 in Miami (Called Miami 7 in Europe) between April 8, 1999 to 1 July 1, 1999 (Thirteen episodes total).  This was followed by S Club 7 in L.A (Called L.A. 7 in Europe) between April 6, 2000 to July 6, 2000 (Thirteen episodes total).  On September 25, 2000 another season dedicated to saving endangered species of animals entitled S Club 7 Go Wild! was broadcasted (Seven episodes total).  The fourth season entitled S Club 7 in Hollywood (Called Hollywood 7 in Europe) stayed in Los Angeles, California for thirteen episodes broadcasted between September 27, 2001 to December 20, 2001.  The final season of the television show entitled Viva S Club was broadcasted between September 20, 2002 to December 27, 2002 (Thirteen episodes total and set in Barcelona, Spain).  Paul Cattermole quitting both the band and the show after only the first four episodes of Viva S Club was pretty much the beginning of the end.  A direct to video movie entitled Seeing Double was released on April 11, 2003 .  Jo O'Meara wasn't able to commit to a thirteen episode television show due to a sudden injury to her spine which reduced the work load only to a direct to video film.  Efforts was made to limit Jo O'Meara so she could fulfill acting, touring and promotion responsibilities for the group.  Despite promises of more albums and films, S Club 7 broke up after touring and releasing a greatest hits album on June 2, 2003.
Jo O'Meara, Paul Cattermole and Bradley McIntosh formed S Club 3 starting in 2008, but found their concerts going from performing in front of 13,000 fans to performing in small clubs and University gigs instead.  On occasion there were rumors of all seven members of S Club getting back together, but such attempts are still in the negotiation phase.
