WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LAND AFTER THE RAIN

Gentle Reader, it's hard to believe that the rain has fallen.   It now doesn't look as if the sky was once grey with knowledge of approaching rain.  And the sight of rain are forever recorded in my memory, but it doesn't exist right now.  And yes, it was possible to photograph or make camcorder films of the rain as it fell yesterday, but such evidence is now in the past tense.  However, rain did fall and the land was nourished because of the falling rain.  And that knowledge alone is enough even if there's no longer any way to prove such a thing.  The wind isn't blowing as aggressively as it once did.  The ground was still sort of soaked with yesterday's rain water.  I ate lunch as I looked out of the window to the world beyond the backyard.  The world is such a wonderful place after the rain fell.
And as I'm lost in thought after the rain fell yesterday, here are some photos of Sophia Bush.
