THE RETURN OF STAR WARS

You probably may have heard that filmmaker George Lucas has sold his company Lucasfilm to the Disney Corporation. That makes Disney the proud copyright owners of Tucker: A Man and His Dream, Howard the Duck and Willow. However, it wasn't those films that drew the house of Mickey Mouse to the house that Darth Vader built, but rather it was Darth Vader that made the sale necessary. You see, Lucasfilm is the proud copyright holders to the landmark six volume Star Wars film series. It's the chance to be the copyright holders of Star Wars Episode I---The Phantom Menace, Star Wars Episode II---The Clone Wars, Star Wars Episode III---Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars Episode IV---A New Hope, Star Wars Episode V---The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI---Return of the Jedi. And more important, it opens the door to the filming of Star Wars Episode VII, Star Wars Episode VIII and Star Wars Episode IX. And yes, there are questions concerning the filming of Star Wars Episode VII, Star Wars Episode VIII and Star Wars Episode IX.
1. Will Mark Hamill return as Luke Skywalker, Harrison Ford return as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher return as Princess Leia, Billy Dee Williams return as Lando Calrissian, Anthony Daniels return as C-3PO, Kenny Baker return as R2-D2 and Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca? And if so, to what extent will the roles be played.
2. Palpatine aka Darth Sidious and Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader were killed off in a manner that would make it impossible for either villain to return. Also killed off in a permanent irreversible manner is Jabba the Hut and his mercenary hired hand Boba-Fett. So who will lead the Sith Lords with all the above killed off in a manner that's impossible to reverse without causing the series to jump the sharks? Trust me when I say that it's impossible for Palpatine aka Darth Sidious, Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader, Jabba the Hutt and Boba-Fett to return---Not even if they wanted to. I guess that a brand new Sith Lord master and a brand new Sith Lord apprentice will be needed. Oh well, I guess they're just going to have to get used to it.
3. With Yoda dead in a manner that's impossible to reverse, somebody will be needed to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Jedi Knights Army. Will that CEO of the Jedi Knights be Luke Skywalker. And with Luke Skywalker being promoted from Jedi Knight apprentice to Jedi Knight Master, then who will be the brand new Jedi Knight Apprentice (There can only be two, a Master and a student, no more and no less)? Luke Skywalker's fraternal twin sister Princess Leia Organa? I mean, if Luke and Leia are twins, then Leia will have the same exact super-powers that her twin brother Luke has. So why does Luke Skywalker has a light saber, but Leia isn't allowed to have a light saber. Give Princess Leia Organa her own light saber and make her Luke Skywalker's student apprentice.
4. What will Han Solo feel about his wife (And possible mother of his children) Princess Leia Organa becoming a Jedi Knight fighting crime alongside her fraternal twin brother Luke Skywalker? Is Han Solo afraid that she'll become a Sith Lord just like her father Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader?
5. How will Han Solo, Luke Skywalker feel about moving from being on the outer edges of the Jedi Knight Rebellion to becoming the crucial central core of the Jedi Knight controlled Democracy Republic? They both used to be forgotten (Luke was a farmer who couldn't get anybody to take him seriously and Han was a smuggler employed by the Sith Lords who only switched sides because he was in the Jedi Knight witness protection program) and now they're the most crucial leaders of the same Jedi Knight movement. How do Luke Skywalker and Han Solo adjust to their shift in importance?
6. Give Princess Leia Organa her own light saber. Give Princess Leia Organa her own light saber. Give Princess Leia Organa her own light saber. Come on, what is Disney waiting for? Give Princess Leia Organa her own light saber.
Ah yes, all these questions and not enough answers. We'll see what Walt Disney will do when the add Princess Leia Organa to their princess collection with the currently in development Star Wars episode VII film.
And as I'm lost in thought about the Star Wars film series, here are some photos of film actress Natalie Portman.
