UPDATING THE DESKTOP COMPUTERS

Tuesday September 25, 2012 is no Internet Access day at the Strongsville Public Library. The desktop computers in the computer lab will be closed for software updates. Gentle Reader, we live in an age without vcuum tubes and are replaced with the microchip. And with computer technology improving by leaps and bounds everyday, the computer GODS of Microsoft and Apple is always updating and improving something. I lost track how many different versions of Microsoft's Windows computer operating system have been made and how many more different updates of Microsoft's Windows Computer operating system has yet to arrive. We stand in awe at how computer programmers and computer engineers like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates has changed the way computers are done by shrinking computers so small, that it can fit on the desk and shrinking telephones so small that it can fit comfortably in my pocket. I don't know who invented integrated circuit aka monolithic integrated circuit aka IC aka chip aka microchip, but I'll certainly take the time to find it out and tell you all about it soon.
As I'm lost in thought about computers, here are some photos of rock star and lead singer of both Siouxsie and the Banshees and the Creatures Susan Janet Ballion aka Siouxsie Sioux.
