RETURN OF THE MUNSTERS

Do you remember the television series The Munsters.  It was a carbon copy clone replica of the classic television series the Adams Family.  The first three seasons of the Munsters had everything that a sitcom needed to have.  Fake looking plywood sets, either a laugh track or carefully controlled "studio audience laughter at anything regardless of if it actually was funny and the standard three camera setup with no outdoor photgraphy.  It ran for three seasons from 1964 to 1966.  Fred Gwynne played Herman Munster.  Yvonne De Carlo played Lily Munster.  Al Lewis played Grandpa Munster.  Butch Patrick played Eddie Munster.  Pat Priest played Marilyn Munster.  This was what the Munster looked like from 1966 to 1966.

Well, the Munsters is back starting in the 2012 to 2013 television season, only this time it's entitled Mockingbird Lane (Which was where the Munsters' mansion was located).  Jerry O'Connell plays Eddie Munster.  Lesbian actress (and Ellen Degeneres' lawfully wedded wife) Portia de Rossi plays Lily Munster.  Eddie Izzard plays Grandpa Munster.  Mason Cook plays Eddie Munster.  I'm guessing that Charity Wakefield is playing Marilyn Munster (Unless Beth Grant was playing that role instead).  Anyway, this is the cast for the fourth season of the television series the Munsters which is retitled Mockingbird Lane (Not to be confused with the classic legal procedural and civil rights drama book and film To Kill a Mockingbird).
