THE SKUNK AND THE PORCUPINE

So tell me Gentle Reader, which animal would make a better pet?  Would the skunk make a better pet animal than the porcupine?  Would the porcupine make a better pet animal than the skunk?  Let's compare the two animals for their pet animal compatibility.  The skunk sprays a special substance that causes you to reek.  Once you've been sprayed by a special spray that makes you smelly, it's hard to wash the smelly substance off of you.  However, it's possible to hug and pet the skunk if you don't mind having a foul body Oder when the skunk sprays you.  The porcupine doesn't spray you with a foul smelling substance.  However, you can't hug or pet the porcupine because of it's sharp needle like things that protrude from it's body.  And once those sharp needle like things that protrude from it's body pierce your skin, it's close to impossible to remove.  So which fate is better?  Being sprayed by a foul smelling substance that doesn't wash off or being perforated by a sharp needle like thing that protrude from the porcupine's body?  Or perhaps it's better to purchase a pet dog and/or a pet cat instead.  When you think about it, pet dogs and pet cats are much better animals to keep as pets.
As I'm lost in thought about skunks and porcupines, here are some photos of film and television actress Eliza Dushku.
