A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE WEEKEND

In theory, the weekend is the day of rest.  Even GOD rested after spending seven days creating everything in sight.  However, does anybody really bother to rest on the weekend?  The weekend tends to be a day for lots of cleaning chores.  The cleaning chores that are delayed on the weekday is now necessary for the weekend.  For those who are devout Christians, there's Sunday morning church services.  Plus, there's bible study and Sunday school.  Plus, there's half a dozen church related activities related to charity and fundraising.  Plus, for those attending school, there's homework.  For those who are unemployed, there's job hunting.  Plus, there's food cooking.  Once the food is eaten, then it's necessary to clean the dishes.  So, does anybody really get to rest on the weekend?  Maybe there are a few minutes of rest, but without household servants, the rest is always ended.  Maybe it was possible for GOD to rest on the weekend because he has a few angels to serve as his household servants.  The rest of us human mortals isn't so lucky.

As I think about religion and the weekend, here are some photos of television actress Lea Michele.  Lea Michele biggest claim to fame is the television series Glee.
